Honor V30 Pro got into the Top 3 best cameraphones

Now the entire Top 3 DxOMark rating is presented exclusively by Huawei smartphones

Honor V30 Pro beat Huawei Mate 30 Pro, Xiaomi Mi Note 10 and iPhone 11 Pro Max.

DxOMark specialists today published the test results of the main camera of the Honor V30 Pro smartphone. The results were very good for this model: Honor V30 earned 122 points in the combined rating, which allowed him to break into second place. The first is still the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, the third is the Mate 30 Pro.

Honor V30 Pro received 133 points for taking photos and 100 points for shooting videos. Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G for taking photos is only 1 point more, and only because the Honor V30 Pro periodically failed autofocus. Most likely, the problem can be solved by software, and then there will be a full level of flagship – the same is noted by DxOMark experts: in the subcategories of the discipline “Photos”, the results of these smartphones differ minimally.

Night shots, bokeh effects, detail and exposure are all the strengths of the Honor V30 Pro. In conditions close to complete darkness, the night shooting mode works effectively, giving vivid pictures with good detail. Even night portraits with flash work well for a smartphone.

In the composite rating of the discipline “Video”, the Honor V30 Pro takes only seventh place, but at the same time lags behind the Huawei Mate 30 Pro by only 2 points. Here, in principle, the same problem as when shooting video is the instability of autofocus. Plus, sharpness dances in different parts of the frame. But in general, anyway, the smartphone records video at a high level.
