The announcement of Xiaomi Redmi 8A Dual – an ultra-cheap smartphone with a dual camera

The Chinese corporation Xiaomi has always loved to produce high-quality smartphones that are extremely advanced from a technical point of view, setting at such minimal prices. On February 11, 2020, this manufacturer held a special event in India, in which the brand announced a new ultra-cheap smartphone Xiaomi Redmi 8A Dual, which has a dual camera and other nice features. The novelty is incredibly affordable in terms of cost, so everyone can afford to buy it. The mobile device, of course, has not too advanced technical equipment, but in terms of price and quality in the framework of the most affordable price category, it is better not to find anything, and this is a fact.

The new smartphone called Xiaomi Redmi 8A Dual is an entry-level mobile device, the capabilities of which can please everyone. This phone is equipped with a 6.22-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1520 by 720 pixels (HD+), an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor with a clock frequency of 2.0 GHz, 2/3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of permanent flash memory, USB Type connectors -C and 3.5 mm for headphones, as well as a 5000 mAh battery with 18 W fast charging support, just like the iPhone 11 Pro Max, that is, the latest Apple flagship. The phone case is made of polycarbonate special texture.

The phone’s case dimensions are 156.48×75.41×9.4 mm, while it weighs only 188 grams. The mobile device has a p2i coating that prevents moisture from entering the body. The phone is equipped with a slot for installing microSD memory cards up to 512 GB inclusive, dual main (13 megapixels+ 2 megapixels) and 8 megapixel front cameras, as well as support for such modern technologies as Wi-Fi 801.11n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, A-GPS , 4G VoLTE, GLONASS and FM-radio (works without the Internet). Nevertheless, even in spite of all this, this new device did not receive an NFC chip for working with Google Pay and for paying for purchases in stores, so it definitely will not work for such purposes.

Out of the box, the inexpensive Xiaomi Redmi 8A Dual has the Android 9 Pie operating system in the form of MIUI 10 proprietary firmware, but in the near future they promise to upgrade this device to a newer and more modern OS. Official sales of such a novelty will begin in India on February 18, 2020, and you can purchase this device for 6499 rupees (2/32 GB) and 6999 rupees (3/32 GB), that is, a mobile device costs $90 rubles and $100 rubles respectively. A choice of blue, white and gray colors, but in all such colors the front of the phone will be black. Given such a low cost, this is a very interesting smartphone, especially since it can simultaneously work with two SIM cards at once, and this can be useful to many.
