Tesla, as expected, increased the mileage of its Model S and Model X electric cars on a single charge of the battery pack.
We are talking about modifications to the Long Range Plus cars. The numbers presented are based on an assessment by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
So, it is reported that the Tesla Model S’s power reserve has increased from 373 miles to 390 miles (approximately 630 km). In other words, the increase was approximately 5%.
At the Tesla Model X crossover, the increase was more significant – at the level of 7%. The power reserve has risen from 328 miles to 351 miles (about 565km).

Of course, the real numbers will depend on traffic conditions, the use of on-board systems, in particular, climate control, driving style and other factors.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk adds that, in fact, Model S and Model X electric cars made in recent months can show mileage on a single charge, exceeding the EPA values. Additional features will become available after the release of one of the future updates on-board software.
