SpaceX will deliver tourists to orbit

Space Adventures has announced that it has signed an agreement with SpaceX to deliver tourists to orbit using the Crew Dragon spacecraft.

Space Adventures announced an agreement with SpaceX to deliver tourists to orbit. Under this agreement, Space Adventures plans to organize travel of tourists on the Crew Dragon spaceship into orbit.

According to plans, the first flight will take place in 2021 or 2022. It will involve up to four tourists who will be prepared in a few weeks. The mission will last up to five days; as part of it, Crew Dragon will not dock to the ISS, however, it will reach a height of at least two times greater than the one at which the station is located.

Space Adventures has not yet revealed the exact price of tickets for participating in the flight, although Eric Anderson, president of the company, said on Twitter that the ticket will cost less than $50 million.
