Apple starts selling certified refurbished iPhone XS/Max for $699

Apple first launched the sale of certified refurbished iPhone XS / Max smartphones. Released in 2018, smartphones priced at $999 can now be purchased in a restored version for $699 and above.

Apple refurbished devices come with a full one-year warranty and all original accessories.

For comparison, the Best Buy retailer now offers remanufactured Apple smartphones of the previous generation for $720 and above. It should also be noted that previously, third-party companies such as Woot offered refurbished iPhone models for as low as $475, although in this case there was no official Apple guarantee.

The Phone XS is equipped with a 5.8-inch Super Retina display with OLED HDR panel, support for 2436×1125 pixels and high dynamic range (HDR). The iPhone XS Max model has a larger 6.5-inch Super Retina display with a resolution of 2688×1242 pixels. Both models are based on the 7-nm single-chip A12 Bionic system, support wireless charging, are equipped with dual rear cameras, and are waterproof. To unlock the screen, smartphones use the Face ID face recognition system.
