Sony is preparing the world’s first smartphone with a 4K screen and 5G support

Internet sources report that the future flagship smartphone Sony Xperia will receive a unique set of technical specifications that no device on the commercial market has yet.

The upcoming novelty, as previously reported, will appear on February 24 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2020 mobile industry exhibition in Barcelona, ​​Spain.

It is reported that the smartphone for the first time in the industry will receive a 4K display and support for fifth-generation mobile networks (5G). Moreover, the 4K panel for the first time will be adjacent to the Snapdragon 865 processor.

If you believe the available information, the display size will be 6.6 inches diagonally, the aspect ratio is 21: 9. The developer will apply an OLED screen with HDR support.

Work on 5G networks will provide a Snapdragon X55 modem, compatible with non-autonomous (NSA) and autonomous (SA) architectures.

It is alleged that a quad-camera will be located in the back of the smartphone. Its proposed configuration is as follows: the main sensor with 48 million or 64 million pixels, a 12-megapixel unit with wide-angle optics, a 12-megapixel telephoto module and a ToF sensor.

While there is no certainty about the name of the device: various versions are voiced – Xperia 1.1, Xperia 0 and Xperia 1 Premium. But the price is known – more than $850.
