Xiaomi has released through its collective funding platform Youpin an unexpected product, which turned out to be a genetic test for cats and dogs (Uah Gene Test for Cats and Dogs).

This test, according to the statement of its creators, can identify health risks and genetic diseases, as well as learn more about the nature, behavior and intelligence of the pet. You can also find out what your pet is allergic to. For example, some dogs are allergic to ivermectin in anthelmintics, so prolonged use can cause poisoning.

Uah Gene Test for Cats and Dogs is available in several versions that differ in the information provided. The most affordable version costs about $ 15, it allows you to determine the very fact of the presence of genetic diseases in the animal.

The standard version allows you to identify one of the three genetic diseases and specify it. Ultimate Edition includes a base of 10 common genetic diseases, a pedigree certificate, intelligence assessment, and diet recommendations.

Exploratory Edition allows you to identify 16 types of genetic diseases, includes a pedigree certificate, intelligence assessment, diet tips, breeding tips, a health certificate and so on. Prices of these versions are not reported.
