Xiaomi released a stabilizer for smartphones

it can be used as a selfie stick

The company from Xiaomi’s ecological chain – Yuemi Technology, which previously mainly specialized in the production of mechanical keyboards, has launched the release of accessories for smartphones. The first product is the uniaxial Yuemi stabilizer, which is able to provide stable shooting of video from a smartphone with the click of a button.

Details

The uniaxial stabilizer Yuemi uses a 32-bit ARM processor, is equipped with a 6-axis gyroscopic acceleration sensor, a stabilization control algorithm and a special magnetic force sensor for the brushless motor. This symbiosis will help to remove jitter and tearing of the picture in the video in real time.

The handle can be extended up to 420 ± 10 mm, and the clamping mechanism for a smartphone – up to 11 mm. During storage, the length of the stabilizer is only 190 mm, and the weight of the device is 229 g.

The uniaxial stabilizer Yuemi supports automatic horizontal locking at an angle of 180 °, horizontal and vertical screen switching 360 °. Control of these parameters through the application is not required. The set includes a remote control with Bluetooth, which can be used to provide short-term stable shooting of videos when connecting a smartphone via Bluetooth.

There is a built-in battery with a capacity of 450 mAh, but when it is discharged, you can turn off the stabilizer and use it as a regular selfie stick. Unfortunately, the price of the stabilizer has not yet been announced.
