Xiaomi closes all stores in China

All stores will be closed tomorrow

Xiaomi has officially announced that it closes all retail stores located in various cities of China. This is due to the epidemic of the new coronavirus, which is raging in China and has already been recorded in several other countries of the world.

Shops will be closed tomorrow, January 28th. They will be opened, preliminary, on February 3, if the situation does not worsen. The published report says about the need to facilitate the work to prevent and combat the epidemic, which so far is only getting stronger.

This decision was made “under the influence of the epidemic situation in order to cooperate with governments at all levels, to comprehensively and actively respond to national policies and to do well to prevent the epidemic.”

The company added that additional announcements of new dates for the resumption of stores will be made if necessary. Those who want to buy Xiaomi products can do this on the official Xiaomi website or in the Xiaomi Mall application. Delivery will work as usual.

To date, more than 2800 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered, which have already led to the death of 80 people in Wuhan.
