This statement caught the attention of the Federal Communications Commission
According to the publication Mydrivers, an independent foreign laboratory said that the level of radio frequency radiation of the iPhone 11 Pro is more than twice the limit of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
For the quantitative determination of radiation, the specific absorption coefficient of electromagnetic radiation (Specific absorption rate, SAR) is used. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) only certifies devices whose SAR does not exceed 1.6W/kg. An independent laboratory said that in the case of the iPhone 11 Pro, this figure is 3.8W/kg.
This statement caught the attention of the Federal Communications Commission, which had previously tested the smartphone. Repeated testing showed that the iPhone 11 Pro can still be used in the United States. During testing, the worst conditions were created, in some cases the iPhone 11 Pro showed a slight excess of the set threshold, but experts say that in normal use cases, the smartphone does not pose a threat to the health or safety of users.
Apple also stated that after a thorough review, it was found that its devices comply with all applicable guidelines and restrictions regarding exposure to electromagnetic radiation.
