American company Nikola, which is developing electric and hydrogen trucks, showed images of the Badger pickup truck. While the novelty has the status of a concept car and exists only virtually.
Nikola Badger will receive several modifications: the usual electric with a battery capacity of 160 kWh, as well as hydrogen. In the first case, the power reserve is 300 miles (483 kilometers), and in the second – 600 miles (966 kilometers).
In any modification, Nikola Badger is equipped with electric motors with a power of 461 hp. in standard mode. In peak return mode, this indicator increases to 919 hp. (1329 N·m), which allows the pickup to accelerate to 60 miles per hour (97km/h) in 2.9 seconds. The towed trailer weighs over 8,000 pounds (3,629 kilograms).

In size Badger is slightly larger than its main competitor – Tesla Cybertruck. The length of the novelty is 5900 millimeters (15 mm more than Tesla), the width is 2160 mm (133 mm wider), and the height is 1850 mm (55 mm lower).

In the five-seater cabin, Nikola Badger has screens on the front pillars showing a picture from the side cameras, digital tidy and multimedia with a 17-inch screen. Also, the pickup will receive an external 15-kilowatt outlet for tools and lighting. It is able to power external devices for up to 12 hours.

The pre-production prototype of the Nikola Badger will premiere in September at the special event of Nikola World 2020. It is promised that pickup sales will begin shortly afterwards, and the company will adjust 700 hydrogen refueling in the United States.
