Tesla electric cars will receive new “supercapability”

Tesla cars will diagnose problems, order spare parts in a specific service, and, if necessary, a tow truck and a replacement car.

Tesla cars have a new “superpower”: cars learn to diagnose problems, order spare parts in a specific service, and call a tow truck if necessary. At the moment, the service is in test mode, reports Electrek.

In the meantime, cars are “learning” new functions, now owners of electric cars receive unexpected messages.

With this message, the car notifies that it has detected a malfunction in the energy conversion system, ordered the necessary part for the service that the owner previously indicated as preferred, and offers to coordinate the time of visit using the Tesla mobile application or on the company’s website.

As Tesla notes, such a service solves one of the old problems – the shortage of spare parts for the service. When the system detects the probability of failure in advance, there is time both to order the necessary part and to visit the service on its own.

On the eve of Musk promised investors that after Tesla become unmanned, the company will rise in price at times, like the already sold cars themselves.
