Now on the market you can find a lot of different services designed for communication, but the largest and most famous of all is WhatsApp, which was launched very long ago. For more than 10 years of existence on the market, he managed to gain record high popularity, in connection with which he is now constantly used by more than 2 billion people living in different countries of the world. All of them are trying to solve various problems due to this service, including exchanging text messages, sending media files, chatting in group chats, sharing their location, and, in addition, performing a whole host of any other actions at their own discretion, including make video calls.
This service is developing rapidly, therefore, almost every week its creators make some changes in this software, which should, in theory, positively affect the experience of its use, but this is not always the case. As the experts were able to find out, the correspondence of all users of the WhatsApp messenger was “accidentally” laid out in the Google search engine, and therefore everyone could view it, having done this without unnecessary difficulties. How it happened is not known, but journalists have already confirmed this fact, noting that the messages began to be indexed by the search engine, and therefore they were displayed in the search results. In practice, this means that now anyone can easily access someone else’s correspondence, and then do with it everything that comes to mind.
Moreover, specific messages are tied to specific phone numbers, so any stranger can easily and simply see who exactly, when and what specifically sent. Only correspondence from group chats fell into free access, and even if it was closed, that is, you could get into it only by invitation, even messages from it could be freely available, and you can find them through the Google search engine. Journalists turned to the WhatsApp administration for clarification, and such were provided, but they shocked everyone. As it turned out, someone did not “chance” posted the correspondence in free access, but intentionally, that is, to take such a step was decided precisely consciously.

It is noted that now all group chats will be indexed by Google, including closed ones, which can only be accessed by invitation. For indexing the phone numbers of the chat participants and all the messages they sent, it’s enough just to place a link to the chat somewhere so that it is indexed. After this happens, all the data will be freely available, and it will no longer be possible to delete it from where. Why the WhatsApp messenger took such a step is not known, and the worst part is that he did not even warn all his users about such an innovation, thereby putting many of these in an uncomfortable position, because hardly anyone wants absolutely any stranger could see what he wrote when and from what number.
